1969 Chevelle Pro Street Showcar
This beautiful Pro Street Showcar was built by a local fabrication/restoration shop that has a great reputation for “doing things right.” They are good but not cheap: you get what you pay for and this Chevelle cost over $65k to build!!
Body & Paint:
The body is one of the straightest and most solid I have ever seen. Underneath the car, floors, frame, tub work and roll cage, are a thing of beauty. The House of Kolors Brandywine over Gold 3 stage paint is absolutely showcar gorgeous and flawless!!
Interior:
Beautiful light gray custom ultra-leather interior with a back seat built to safely that can hold a child’s car seat. It still has its factory original dash cluster and also has Autometer gauges. It has a custom built console with power windows and a killer CD stereo.
Engine, Trans and Rear:
The engine is a Bill Mitchell 509 c.i big block that was dyno’d @ 601h.p. & 647 ft. lbs. torque. It runs off pump gas and breathes through big tube ceramic coated headers w/Mandrail bent 3” Flowmaster exhaust and a 1050 dominator carb. This engine sounds nasty and hits super hard, but is tame enough to drive to and from the shows with confidence. It never runs hot, even on those 100 degree days. The trans is a pro-built race prepped TH-400 with a reverse manual valve body and a 3000 stall convertor. The rear is a “Fab 9” w/Moser axles and 4:10 gears, and is spooled.
Other Features:
4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes, power steering, 4 link rear suspension w/adjustable Coliver shocks at all 4 corners, 2” front drop spindles, Outlaw wheels w/Hoosier tires — the list goes on and on.
This beautiful Showcar runs and drives as nice as it looks, and the quality that went into building it shows through everywhere you look. You will not find another 1969 Chevelle Pro Street this nice anywhere !
