Sydneys hot rod show was held at homebush, right next to telstra stadium. I tell you what, I never realise how enormous this complex / compound is. Anyways there were 100’s of seriuosly high quality show cars, infact every single car was of high quality - no dungers at all!

The most noteable and most well knowncars there were :

Summernats Grand Champion for 2006 - Supercharged orange Datsun 510 (pictured above). The finished of this car is superb! I own a datsun 510 (datsun 1600 in australia) and can see the amount of work and modifications that have taken place on it. The entire undercarriage is ready to be eaten off, everything is amazing - no wonder it pulled off Grand Champion at Summernats. The only thing that I found a little strange was to look into the engine bay (it’s powered by an S14 SR20) and see no turbo but a supercharger tucked down near the sump. The engine bay looks empty - completely void of wiring (how how how?? ).

Twin turbo blown WB ute dubbed ‘lazi v8′ was another beautiful show car. Whilst the twin turbos combined with a supercharger would be a little useless in adding power, it sure does attract alot of attention!
